The building, which is an old Hida minka (traditional Japanese house) from the 2nd year of Meiji Period (1869), was moved and remodeled with a sunken hearth. All rooms are Japanese-style rooms with long futon bedding for a comfortable night's sleep. The baths are made of Japanese cypress and can be rented out upon request. Guests can enjoy meals prepared with local ingredients in the dining room, which has been decorated in a German style. The special dishes are hearty and very popular among women.

About 15 minutes on foot (1 km) from JR Kamero Station or about 45 minutes on foot (3 km) from Hida Hagiwara Station, both with pick-up service. About 60 minutes from the Nakatsugawa IC on the Chuo Expressway.
